ABOUT ME

Annelyse (“Elyse”) is an LA-based, Chicago-trained actor. (She moved to LA shortly before the pandemic hit, but is grateful to be quarantined in a place with sunshine.)

Annelyse is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she was pre-med and studied Psychology and Global Health (oops). While on a public health fellowship in India (the AIF Clinton Fellowship), she realized that she was being called to be something far scarier than a doctor – a storyteller. She helped a friend on a tv shoot, and a few weeks later she was hosting a TV show at NDTV-HINDU.

Back in Chicago, Annelyse interned at WGN-TV, before hitch-hiking to a local film audition and getting cast as one of the leads. She met her husband that first day on set!  In Chicago, she studied at Act One, the Green Room, Vagabond, the Annoyance, and Second City. She is graduate of the Second City Conservatory (2013) and was an Emerging Professional Resident at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. She has gone on to work in theaters around the country.

In LA, Annelyse is studying at the Storyteller’s Conservatory under Shaan Sharma and John Ruby.  She looks forward to hitting the ground running when we can all shake hands again.
Annelyse is proud to be a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor’s Equity Association.
